our muslim president

“Ok, so, this is total crap, we sit the kids down to watch ‘The Charlie Brown Christmas Special’ and our muslim president is there, what a load…..try to convince me that wasn’t done on purpose. Ask the man if he believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and he will give you a 10 minute disertation [sic] about it….when the answer should simply be ‘yes’….”
— Arlington, TN, Mayor Russell Wiseman, complaining on his Facebook page about Obama’s West Point address

Now I know why Jack Daniel’s is such terrible whiskey.

That Mental Illness category is really leaping ahead of many of the others.

I cannot believe how ignorant and racist one has to be to hang with Republicans and conservatives. They reject evolution, knowledge, facts, wisdom, and they live in a state of fearful self-pity.

And this is what they get caught saying! Imagine what they say when nobody else is around but other “Tea Baggers” and Sarah Palin like “Real Americans”. They are pathetic and sickening, and their ignorance is dangerous to our existence as a Democracy.

    • Timmy K says:

      Where is this coming from?

Republicans reject evolution? I can’t recall that being much of a topic in politics. However, Science recognizes it as a theory… Do you know something the scientist don’t?

TJ, please leave your bubble for a minute and wise up, a comment like that does nothing but expose your hatred for a political foe you obviously do not understand. Its a weird thing to say blah blah blah considering you are most likely a member of the party that blah blah blah believes everything should be labeled under the race/gender/class definition. Not to mention much blah blah blah of the democratic demo is made up of poor inner city folks and white guilt affluent liberals. Blah blah blah. Final asinine comment.

NEVER try to imagine what conservative folks think when you are not around. You are just doing their job for them.

    • Timmy K says:

steve, what is it exactly that is your problem?

      • steve says:

I have a whole range of fascinating problems. I’m not sure if I can narrow it down to just the one.

      • Timmy K says:

ok, why is it that you lump some dumb mayors facebook quote with sarah palin and tea party? This guy said something stupid, why would you try to link it to all your right wing enemies?

      • k- says:

The “dumb mayor” said “something stupid.” Why link him with Sarah Palin and the Tea Baggers? I’m going to go out on a limb here and suggest that “TJ” is under the impression that those fine Americans also say stupid shit on a regular basis. But perhaps I am missing the fine nuances of his arguments. Let me pray on it and get back to you.

      • Daisy Anne says:

Timmy — it’s easy to link them. Teabaggers say stupid things about Obama being “too black” to be president, and Palin says stupid things about death panels. Three stupid peas in a stupid pod.

  5. k- says:

I wonder what Aaron is listening to these days?

  6. Daisy Anne says:

Why do we always get the same republican guys coming in to comment on k’s posts? Are there only two on wordpress?

  7. miranda bastard says:

Damnit, k. You crossed the streams and now we have fucking teabaggers here.

  8. MacGregor says:

Pretty deep Daisy and Miranda. I guess I made the incorrect assumption that these forums were for discussion.

    • Daisy Anne says:

No, you weren’t incorrect. I was just wondering why it is always the two of you. Also, as far as discussion goes, at my age I’m wondering about the efficacious nature of these debates. For instance, can you tell me a time that you’ve discussed a political topic such as this, and actually bothered to change your mind? Because I’ve had these discussions with many a right winger, and they just tend to say the same thing over and over again, and there is never any concession or understanding. It just seems silly to engage in it, when the outcome is invariably the same.

    • miranda bastard says:

Discussion I am up for, but I don’t find people like you worth engaging.
